MAPRU's post-doc Dr Andréa Thiebault, has used miniaturized audio-recording devices to study the vocalizations between Cape gannets at sea.


In an article, recently published by Dr Andréa Thiebault in the Journal of Avian Biology, audio recordings of Cape gannets at sea were used to show that birds may use vocalizations between themselves to help improve their foraging success.
